Timothea Pham is originally from Southern California and came to Boston to attend university and fell in love with the New England area. She earned her degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Advocacy and Rhetoric at Northeastern University. Timothea joined Mass Cultural Council (MCC) in 2019 and currently serves as the team contact for Local Cultural Councils and Cultural Districts. She also leads efforts on the Festivals & Projects grant program, focusing on creating more learning opportunities for festival producers and supporting the creation of connections between municipalities and cultural workers. 

Before joining MCC, she helped produce community festivals in the Greater Boston Area, the City of Somerville, and the Boston Children’s Museum. She also works on food photography and social marketing projects for several creative small businesses, a family cookbook to showcase her Vietnamese-American identity, and her art forms: writing, jewelry-making, and piano. She is a consultant with Arts Equity Group specializing in community engagement and communications strategy.
