Jxhn T. Martin is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. They most recently served as the Director of the Queer Resource Center and the Assistant Dean of Students for Identity and Cultural Resources at Amherst College. They guide institutional equity work and support LGBTQ+ students throughout their higher education journeys. Jxhn works to bring systemic change through community building, ranging from queer and trans inclusion training to policy reform and implementation and beyond. They consult on projects that concern critical approaches to gender, sexuality, race, and disability.

They hold an M.A. in Higher Education Administration and B.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Stony Brook University.
